I really like this animation. I’m working on a stealth/endless jumper game with virtual joystick inputs and a heavy espionage theme, and I needed a sneaking motion from Mr. Locutor.
I don’t want to be an artist. I think that shows from the work that I’ve done thus far. I did all of the artwork for Crosstown Smash, and again, I think it shows. Except for the road graphic that Factor6 helped me out on, everything else was either modified significantly from freely available assets, or created whole-cloth by yours truly. I do find spriting to be a great stress-reliever; maybe I’ll do it as recreation some day.
Relying on my skills to make a game actually interesting, however, is not something I’m interested in. Maybe when I become a more competent coder, I will be able to devote more time to generating my own graphics. At this point, I’m happy building on CC/PD licensed work, and then providing it to the greater community *Pats self on own back again*.
PS: the pixel artist I have been working with has dissolved our collaboration effective immediately. If you are a pixel artist and you are looking for a paid revenue-sharing partnership, please contact me!
